Greetings unto the Populace of Meridies from Mistress Amicia Readyman, Beacon Principal Herald.
I hope you have all had a good holiday and are ready for a new year of exciting heraldic happenings in Meridies!
I have decided a Doomsday report will not be required from local heralds this year. I find that the new monthly reporting schedule is sufficient to keep me up to speed and provides me with the information I need to make my Doomsday report to Society. Please note that is not a permanent change. In the coming months I will continue to evaluate the reporting schedule to decide if monthly reporting continues to be necessary. If I find that it is not and we return to quarterly reporting, a Doomsday will be required next year. Make no assumptions about a change to the schedule at this point. I will apprise you if and when things change.
Speaking of reporting, there are four groups who have not only, reported each time but have been on time every month since the new system was put in place in June. My thanks and Kodos to those groups and heralds.

Please put on your new calendars Meridian Heraldic Symposium, which will be held February 15-17 at Indian Springs in conjunction with Golden Lily. I am indebted to the Shire of Beaufort for letting this be part of their event. In addition to two tracks of heraldic classes, there will be a scribal scriptorium and a Meet and Greet on Friday night. If you would like to teach a class, please contact me. This symposium is only part of the fun to be had at what promises to be an excellent event!
